Installation of Event Mail Notification
Installing Event Mail Notification is straightforward and flexible. The setup supports both a graphical user interface (GUI) and a silent installation for automated deployments. Both options provide the same functionality and are optimized for different scenarios.
Check System Requirements
Before installation, ensure the following requirements are met:
- Windows operating system (client or server)
- .NET Framework 4.8 or higher
- Administrator privileges for service setup
Installation via Graphical Interface (GUI)
The GUI installation is ideal for single systems or manual setups.
- Launch the setup file.
- Accept the license agreement.
- Choose the installation path.
- Complete the installation and start the service.
After completion, the Windows service “Event Mail Notification” is automatically created and started.
Silent Installation for Automated Deployments
For enterprises or large environments, silent installation is recommended.
- Start from the command line with parameters:
setup.exe /silent /dir="C:\Program Files\EventMailNotification" - No user interaction required.
- Perfect for software distribution via group policies or deployment tools.
License Activation After Installation
After successful installation, the license must be activated. Enter the serial number in the configuration dialog or configuration file. Activation is performed online and unlocks full functionality.
Updates and Maintenance
