This release extends Event Mail Notification with new SMTP, test-mail, and event-delivery configuration options, plus update-process and documentation improvements.
New features
- Extended SMTP password mode: The
smtppassencryptionsetting supports both plaintext and encrypted password handling. - Separated test-mail control:
sendtestmailemn(monthly test mail) andsendtestmailsmtp(startup SMTP test mail) can be configured independently. - Last-event-only mode: With
lasteventonly, you can optionally send only the latest matching event per query and run.
Improvements
- More robust configuration handling: Improved fallback behavior for legacy and extended configuration paths (
logevent/logidandlogevent1..3/logid1..3). - Stabilized update workflow: Stale-lock detection and additional safeguards in the update process.
- Documentation consolidated: Manuals and technical documentation updated for version 1.3.2.
Technical changes
- SMTP normalization enhanced: Improved decryption handling and error logging in the SMTP initialization path.
- Monthly test-mail flow improved: Marker logic and template/fallback behavior refined.
- Update filtering refined: Channel and pre-release filtering improved in the client update process.

- Restart the service: After the update, restart the Event Mail Notification service once.
